Davey Street to TerryWhite Chemmart FAQ
WHAT IS HAPPENING?
Sam, Richard and Katie are proud to announce we have joined the TerryWhite Chemmart group (TWCM). Same familiar faces taking care of our community, and now partnering with a leading national pharmacy brand to ensure we can access great products and services to further enhance what you’ve come to expect at Davey Street.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
After eleven years independently trading at Davey Street we’re joining the national pharmacy group TerryWhite Chemmart. Sam, Rich and Katie are excited about the refresh as it will mean we can continue to focus on primary healthcare in our community with access to a greater range of products and services.
WHO WILL BE CARING OF YOU?
Sam, Richard and Katie will continue as owners, and Sam and Richard will be on the job as pharmacists on a daily basis, as a you’ve come to expect.
Same familiar faces that you’ve trusted with your health at Davey Street for over a decade, and the rest of our amazing team will be there to support Rich and Sam too.
WHEN ARE THE BUILDING WORKS SCHEDULED?
We have started moving a few things around in readiness for VOS Construction, a great Tassie business partner, to commence their 4-week program of works, from just after Easter and working through to early May.
We will remain open with our usual trading hours throughout the renovation and transition. The conversion will be completed in stages to ensure minimal disruption to our customers.
IS MUCH CHANGING?
Our goal is to continue to offer the same services and continued value to all customers, and importantly maintain competitive pricing with regular medications.
Being part of a larger national group gives us greater buying power and access to range allowing us to pass on savings to our customers. That said, if you see something that looks out of place please let us know.
WILL IVF CONTINUE?
IVF will continue to be a key offering at Davey St. Over the past decade we have developed a deep relationship with the local IVF health professionals and their patients. We cherish our role in the process to help all realise their dream of a larger family.
WILL YOU BE OPEN?

WHAT IS NEW?
Due to our growing aging community, and associated demand for medicine ensuring quality of life in the family home, we are expanding our dispensary and clinical areas to continue advancing primary healthcare in our community.
There will also be a retail re-fresh, allowing access to some new ranges complementing what is already available.
