Can you believe it's December 2024 already?

It’s been a wonderful year with much growth and change.

As usual, our therapists will be taking a well deserved break over the Christmas/New Year period.

Farewell dear Heather! 🌿

We are feeling both sad to see Heather go and so very excited for what the future holds for her. Heather can now be found massaging out of her own studio in Huonville. If you live down that way, be sure to check out Heather’s new space!

"I’m here to help you cultivate and maintain an integrated, holistic connection to your body through massage therapy.

My background as a Yoga teacher for over 10 years has served as the roots of my enquiry into the various modalities of healing. My training in Soma Chi Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga and Trauma Informed practice informs my treatments and ongoing support for recovery from injury, trauma or simply body-mind disconnection in a busy world.

I have always been fascinated by the healing arts and the ways in which we create connection between consciousness and the body. I completed my master’s in museum studies in 2021, with a thesis focused on Cultural Heritage, Eco-Sociology, and Anthropological Practice. Since then, I have embraced a more hands-on approach to these studies, using my passion for bodywork to explore the roots of the healing arts and share this knowledge with my community"

Practitioners use hands, forearms and elbows to create long, flowing and rhythmic strokes that lull the body into a state of receptivity, healing and the feeling of the Aloha spirit, that is sacred to the Hawaiian people.

💗 WOMB HARA MASSAGE 💗

We're so pleased to be offering Womb Hara at Murray Street Massage.
Our skilled therapist Bronte offers womb hara on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Womb Hara Massage is an abdominal, sacral and womb massage that combines techniques from Fertility Massage, Lomi Lomi Massage, Mayan and Chinese Chi Nei Tsang abdominal massage. It is designed to increase the flow of chi (energy), release physical/emotional congestion and balance the sympathetic & parasympathetic nervous systems. The primary areas of focus for the treatment include the shoulders, lower back, hips, sacrum, womb space, reproductive organs, bladder, large and small intestines. The session also includes a rebozo ceremony, which involves wrapping the body with traditional handwoven material to create a womb-like space for you to come completely home to your body.

Bronte also offers Womb Hara 120 minutes for $210.
