Now this was DELICIOUS 🤤❣️
I was tasked with making the boss’s significant birthday cake yesterday for the staff morning tea today.
Ummmm 🤔 I had lemons - so a bit of a search on Cookidoo and this popped up. I made a double batch of the recipe to fill the Bundt tin (available in mix shop) and ta da ❣️

For those of you with the TM6 - or TM5 owners who use the TM6 measuring cup, please do your upgrade and be aware of the new cooking instructions for temperatures over 95 degrees.

Reminder on what we shared yesterday.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE

Important safety notice for Thermomix® TM5 and TM6 issued worldwide by Vorwerk. When cooking (simmering) at temperatures at 95°C or above, the simmering basket should always be used instead of the Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup.

The TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. When cooking or simmering at temperatures of 95°C/200°F and above, if ingredients float to the top and become compressed this can prevent steam from escaping. Consequently, increased pressure can build up in the mixing bowl, which can lead to a sudden and uncontrolled spillage of hot food, with a risk of scalding or burns. Using the simmering basket in place of the measuring cup will prevent this from happening.

Please also make sure you install the new software update on your Thermomix to get additional safety instructions.
