They had topped the market today in Ballarat with their lambs, making $500 a head.

Dattuck, Yarto Fire, December 25

A huge thank you to the amazing people who phoned, turned up with dogs to move sheep, and worked in extreme heat when the fire was headed our way.

We were incredibly lucky with a wind change that pushed it away.

A very special shout out to Wal, who worked all afternoon creating a fire break around the property.

Our little gang, self named The Dattuck Fire Crew, headed straight to Yarto once we knew where the fire was going, and grabbed these amazing snaps, thanks Jace.

🌾 Harvest Appreciation Post 🌾

A huge thank you to the Mallee Park team for pulling together during this harvest! Despite rain delays and finishing the hay without a break, our header drivers, Wal & Jack, kept pushing through.

Shainna tackled driving the chaser bin and was so good, she landed the job all harvest. Our enthusiastic truck driver, Tim, kept everything trucking.

John & Jacey jumped in to fix everything we broke, or took over driving any of the machinery when required. This included sheep work! 😂

A special shoutout to Judy and Joy for the amazing meals that fueled us all. Catering is no easy task, especially during such a long harvest.

Harvest 2025 is officially finished. ❤️
