Dr Kristi and her family are heartbroken on the passing of their sweet little girl Lola. For 13 years she has been the perfect puppy-sized family member. She was always happy visiting the girls at the clinic, meeting clients fellow cavaliers or having a pefect haircut with Andrea…We will love and miss her always ❤️🐶❤️

Announcing the end of an era with Nurse Andrea retiring this Friday 🥲🥲🥲🥲

For 30 years Andrea has been the smiling face at reception, the caring voice on the phone, the highly skilled nurse in surgery, the resident expert on dog and cat breeds (and colours) as well as dog showing and dog breeding and also an amazing pet groomer.

With over 45 years of veterinary nursing experience she has lived and breathed animals of all shapes and sizes her whole life. For three decades at the Hoppers Crossing Vet Clinic Andrea has trained and advised our young vets and nurses and has been universally loved by all our team and clients alike. Her laugh, her kindness and her knowledge is going to be sorely missed.

From the clinics first beginnings with Dr Joe, to teaching Dr Kristi how to treat her first cat bite abscess as a new graduate she has been a constant happy figure at our practice. Her ability to hold an uncooperative cat for blood tests, to make the best coffee from a tin of nescafe 43 and to find or repair that vital piece of equipment is legendary.

We are all going to miss her SO much but wish her nothing but the best on her sea-change move to Lochsport. Enjoy your well deserved retirement Andrea and please visit us regularly between your many new adventures
