Mary delivers an inspirational Ted Talk on how to stop stereotyping people with disabilities and how to make environments accessible for everyone.
It starts with not asking people with disabilities what is wrong with them, instead, listen to them, treat them with equity and respect and accept them for who they are. It also is about designing environments with the idea in mind on how everyone can have access to a place. Mary Dillard was born with Cerebral Palsy, graduated from university with a degree in technical writing, works in a marketing and communications job and is an advocate for people with disabilites.

Happy World Braille Day! Today is a day to promote the awareness of the importance Braille has in teaching people who are blind or visually impaired how to read and write. Efforts should be made to increase access to braille materials, provide braille literacy education, and advocate for braille inclusion in educational and workplace settings.
