Struggling to step to the top of your mat from Down Dog?

This transition can feel really challenging if you have:
• longer legs
• shorter arms
• tight hips
• or limited core strength

Instead of forcing the step, try:
✔ shifting your shoulders forward
✔ bending the back knee
✔ stepping halfway and adjusting your foot

If stepping forward feels like a traffic jam, it may not be tight hips.

For many women, a fuller chest changes the geometry of the movement.
That just means we adjust the pathway:

• Widen the hands
• Add height under the hands
• Step slightly wider
• Focus on lifting before moving forward
