🧠✨ Building Emotional Resilience in Teenagers
📝 Blog by Tamara Gray, Provisional Psychologist

Adolescence is a time of rapid change, growth, and intense emotions — which can be challenging for both teenagers and their parents 🌱

A strong sense of safety, stability, and supportive relationships plays a powerful role in helping young people navigate these changes. Trusted adults and close friends can make a meaningful difference in supporting youth mental health during this important stage of life.

Resilience isn’t something a teenager simply “has” or “doesn’t have” — it’s a skill that can be developed over time with the right support and guidance.

👉 Read our blog to learn how to support emotional resilience in teenagers.

🌸🧠 Autism in Girls: Why It Presents Differently
📝 Blog by Claire Mitchelmore, Provisional Psychologist

Many girls and women with autism are misdiagnosed, overlooked, or diagnosed much later in life. Because autism can present differently in girls, important signs are often missed — delaying understanding and access to the support they need.

Early recognition can make a meaningful difference to identity, wellbeing, and support pathways.

Our Story

We are a Private Multi-disciplinary Paediatric Clinic situated on Sydney's Upper North Shore. Our Philosophy is that "children are not things to be moulded, but people to be unfolded" and with this in mind our Mission is to provide an uncompromising quality of service to parents, children, adolescents and families so that they may achieve their full capacity in life. Our practice values focus on providing an environment and opportunities in which to nurture our clients, from which positive growth will occur, as we support each individual's development so that they may evolve into the humans they have the potential to become.
