Studio ARTES is dedicated to delivering ’Person Centred Planning’ which is flexible and compatible with each individual's goals, health, interests and

changing needs. Encouraging and celebrating the individuality and creativity of every participant

Supporting participants to engage with and experience the arts both recreationally and professionally. Building connections within the broader community to increase for people with disabilities to be involved in wider social, educational and vocational networks. Supporting participants from various cultural, linguistical and religious backgrounds with full consideration to age and gender.

Congratulations to Sophie and Emily for being finalists in the Burwood Art Prize! The opening night for the Burwood Art Prize is tonight and on until the 28th of June. This art prize is the theme "I am here" and explores identity and your personal narrative. Come along to see these incredible artworks in person - this post only shows a snippet of the piece!

Prepare to be dazzled as the talented performers from Studio ARTES take to the stage in this year’s spectacular production, That’s Entertainment! Full of energy, creativity and showstopping moments, our members will take you on a journey through what entertainment truly means to them.

From K-pop to Broadway, Dolly Parton and so much more, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Our favourite rock band Swamp Dogs will return to rock the stage alongside many familiar faces, bringing stunning dance routines, comedic drama and lively songs.

This term, the Sculpture and Make session has been busy creating stunning moth wings inspired by the incredible diversity of moth species from around the world. Members began by researching different kinds of moths before each choosing one to inspire their own unique design.

Over several weeks, the group explored pattern-making techniques and carefully developed their wing concepts. Once their designs were finalised, members selected fabrics and began bringing their creations to life using a range of creative processes.

The project is now entering an exciting new stage, with members embellishing their wings using appliqué, lace, ribbons, beads, hand stitching, textured fabrics, and POSCA markers to add intricate details and personality to each piece.

The Inner West Monday art group enjoyed a fantastic creative adventure taking the metro into the city to visit the Art Gallery of NSW. We explored Mike Hewson’s interactive installation The Key’s Under the Mat, along with many other inspiring artworks throughout the gallery.

It was a wonderful day filled with art, connection, and discovery. A huge thank‑you to AGNSW for welcoming us - we had an absolutely terrific time!

We are so excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for our Mid Year Show at the Hornsby RSL Showroom!

Held on Friday the 19th of June, we have 2 shows on offer, a Matinee Show at 11am and an Evening Show at 6:30pm.

The theme of this year's show is "That's Entertainment" which our members will channel through live music, exciting dance routines, hilarious skits and even a few moments that might make you emotional.

To find out how our members interpret the theme of ‘That’s Entertainment’ is a mystery - you’ll have to come and see the show.

Friday Night was the opening of the Ravenswood Art Prize, with Bridget Kelly as a finalist as well as the Remagine Art Prize with Patrick Heuzenroder and Craig Allen as finalists. Patrick was also awarded the Local Art Prize and was extremely happy with the outcome!

Both events were fantastic celebrations of talented artists and it was really special seeing our members participating in the wider art community✨

At the Remagine Art Prize, the mayor Warren Waddell gave a special mention to Studio ARTES in his speech, highlighting our members participation and the meaningful work we do in the local area.

A huge congratulations to all 3 of our amazing artists! We are so proud of you and the amazing art you created!
