We’re experiencing a new COVID-19 wave in NSW, so it’s important to stay safe and protect yourself and others.

We will continue to keep you updated with the latest COVID-19 information.

Right now, the best ways to stay COVID safe are:

· Stay up to date with your COVID-19 vaccinations and booster doses. This is your best protection, including against the latest variants

· Stay home if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms and get tested for COVID-19. It may not be mandatory anymore but it’s the best way to protect ourselves and those around us

· Wear a mask in crowded, indoor places including on public transport

· Talk to your GP now if you’re at higher risk of severe illness so you know which COVID-19 test you should do if you get sick and if you need antiviral medicines. Antiviral medicines need to be taken within days of symptoms starting, so make a plan today

While you’re no longer required by law to self-isolate if you have COVID-19, it is recommended you stay home until your acute symptoms (runny nose, sore throat, cough, fever) have gone.

Take steps to protect others:

• Wear a mask in public if you must leave the house
• Avoid large gatherings and indoor crowded places.
• Don’t visit people at high risk of severe illness, anyone in hospital, or an aged or disability care facility at least 7 days.
• Talk to your employer about when you should return to the workplace.

Please register your positive rapid antigen test with Service NSW. Registration can help you access health support from us including antiviral medicines if you are eligible.
