Known as the “Yoga of Awareness” it is the most comprehensive of yoga traditions, combining postures (asana), breath (pranayam), meditation, mantra, the naad (sound) and relaxation. The technology of Kundalini Yoga awakens and utilises that power to create shifts in body and mind to help transform those who practice it towards realising their potential. Meditation supports to bring the mind to a s
tate of awareness for focus or respite. In the Kundalini Yoga tradition it always incorporates breath work and focus, and often also mantra and movement. The gong is a special and ancient instrument that enhances the effectiveness of the meditative, relaxation and matra practices through its contribution to vibration and sound. Taken all together, this is a safe and effective way to address stress and anxiety, strengthen the immune and glandular systems, and restore and develop physical, mental and emotional balance.
