We are thrilled to be able to share the following fantastic news with you all!
The Victorian Rural Health Awards, hosted by RWAV every year since 2005, recognises outstanding contributions made by rural health professionals working in rural communities.
The awards honour the exceptional medical professionals, nurses, allied health professionals, Aboriginal health workers, and practice managers across rural Victoria.
Two of our doctors won very well deserved awards for their hard work and dedication to their profession and our community!

Want to work with a really great bunch of people?, doing a job that is rewarding, respected, interesting and professional?. With our ever expanding operations; Lister house is looking to fill TWO positions 1. A Registered Nurse and 2. Front of House Medical Support Person. (both positions are open to conversations around hours and days, eg casual, full time or part time- as we want to work with the RIGHT people) We have such a great environment to work in and we are wanting a like minded team supportive staff member(s), that fit in with our work ethos and expectations. Number one is to look after your colleagues. If you think you are a committed, hard working, fun, like a happy group of people to work with- here is your new home. From stories about Steven the mouse, to full weekends of camping and social activities, we are a group you will want to work with. WELL INTRODUCING A NEW SYSTEM- you can SELF COLLECT (must not have symptoms of unexpected bleeding or unexplained pain)

But its simple-
1. Make an appointment with your GP/Nurse
2. ASK for a self collect cervical screening
3. Pop into the treatment room (or take it home) and insert to the va**na and swab area for 10-30 seconds
4. Give to GP /Nurse or label the swab with name/date collected/date of birth
5. We will send to pathology provider

SAFE EFFECTIVE PROVEN DISCREET EASY
Please don't delay collecting to prevent this really preventable disease. Reach out if you have questions.
