I enjoy living a healthy active lifestyle with my family and would love to help you to do the same. As a mum of 2 small children I understand how hard it can be to get to the gym and will make it as easy as possible for other mums to exercise. Anything that I post in regards to food, eating, drinking are just suggestions as I am not a nutritionist or dietician. Feel free to post on my wall, share any healthy recipes that you have. A month later I finally did it. 🙃
Todays workout:
Deadlifts 50kgx8 60kgx6 70x1, 80, 85 and 90kg!! 🎉
Followed by leg press and Bulgarian slit squats.

Upper body workout with a tension headache..
I took panadol at 7.30am and had breakfast at 8am. At 10am I still felt the same and didn't want to wait any longer so I headed to the gym.
I started with these single arm banded lat pulls and continued my training one side at a time and lighter than normal. Focusing on each specific muscle that I wanted to train and not putting pressure on my neck or using my traps to much. Not only did I feel good about getting off the couch, by the time I left the gym my headache had eased!
So.. its ok to take an extra rest day if you need it, but sometimes in fact it's the workout that you need!

It's ok to fail! It's better than not trying!
Today I hoped for a 90kg deadlift but chickened out at 87.5... which I know I can do but I talked myself out of it today and didn't have Jac or Jarrod there for encouragement. Having someone to push you helps more than you expect. Looking back at my videos, my 85 was good and my 87.5 started well.. it was in my head. Next time I will commit!

Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays. At home, at Snap or online.
Preferably school hours.

My son doesn't eat peas but he has Pickles on his Parma.. what in the weird combos food choices is that. If there is something my kids really dont like I don't usually make them eat it because they eat well most of the time.

I often hear people say they don't like exercising so they don't do it.
Or.. "you must love working out"
Um does this look like I'm having a fun time?
No! I don't like the Hack Squat at all to be honest.
👉 exercise is a necessary part of life! Like eating and showering.
👉 I do it to build muscle and improve bone density.
👉 for heart health and mental health.
👉 to encourage my kids to be active and healthy.
I don't love it but I never regret it. I always leave the gym feeling better than I did before I started.
