Meet your therapist 💜
Hi, I'm Katelyn, I was born and bred in Darwin, growing up in the northern suburbs. I went to Holy Family Primary School, O’Loughlin College and later Casuarina Senior College, and in my younger years, I also played hockey for Banks. Some of my best memories are from those younger days growing up in the 90's with my lifelong friends. My parents are Cyclone Tracy survivors and were territory business owners for over 30 years.
After spending 14 years in Victoria (and surviving nearly two years of COVID lockdown in Melbourne — homeschooling, isolation, and what felt like house arrest), I knew I couldn’t do another winter. Darwin has always been home, and I’m so grateful to be back in the Top End where the sun shines and the markets thrive.
I’m a qualified Birth and Postnatal Doula, currently studying Midwifery at CDU. I also studied Myotherapy at ACFB as a mature-age student while juggling work and parenting — no small feat! My goal is to combine women's health, myotherapy, and birth work to provide holistic care for NT women.
I’m a proud mum of two (a girl and a boy) and a lover of market food, handmade items, sunshine, and the great outdoors. I’m also a domestic violence survivor — if you’re ever in a difficult situation and need help, support, or someone to talk to about navigating the court system, please know you're not alone. I’m here.
I did powerlifting for eight years with an incredible coach, and I absolutely loved the strength and challenge it gave me. These days, I’m more into Pilates — it’s still challenging and rewarding but a little gentler on my joints as I manage an autoimmune condition.
Through all of life’s ups and downs, I remain passionate about supporting my client's through every stage of life, with strength, compassion, and care.
