My experience being involved in Murray River reiki, participating in the meditation groups and in level one reiki training.

Firstly, my experience with my recent reiki training in “Usui Reiki Ryoho - The Traditional Japanese Usui Reiki Method”, has expanded my personal view and experience of meditation and enhanced the benefit of all my spiritual practices. I had not received reiki previously nor was I too interested, a sceptic with the culture I had been around, though with such a profound and quick shift appearing both internally and throughout my habitual patterns, I have deeply appreciated the effects and can now speak highly of its reality!
Most prominently WILLPOWER. Determination and diligence has exponentially increased in the fortnight proceeding the training and I know this effect will last if I choose to continue on this path of practice.
I do, I choose to welcome reiki as a lifestyle, one to which I sit in a place of service, by allowing reiki to flow through my channel I allow myself to receive the energy I need to participate in life the way I aspire to.
And for this, I have Melanie to thank. As so courageous she has been to take on reiki without hesitation and full confidence to share what she has found with others. Melanine’ s teaching ability is comfortable and easy to comprehend, at no point have I felt like things have been inadequately described nor have I been rushed in my learning process. Even when emotions, overwhelm and confrontation arose in me as my own inner battles appeared, Mel held the space and comforted the insecurities in me.
I really do feel it appropriate for anyone interested in spiritual development to explore what reiki may offer them.
In respect to Melanie's lineage, experience through life and personal journey, she is well adept in teaching both those new to spiritual ideas while also being wise in ways to expand veterans in the field.

The Murray River Reiki - “Usui Reiki Ryoho” lineage Course
Shoden Level I

Murray River Reiki is holding a level 1 traditional Japanese Usui Reiki Course on Saturday 10th & 11th Dec. 2022
This is the last course for this year. This would be a great way of providing Reiki to close friends and loved ones over the Christmas period, by learning how to experience and share healing positive energy.

Reiki traditionally is a form of healing originating in Japan and founded by Mikao Usui in 1922. Reiki translates as; Rei = Spirit of the Universe Ki = Life-Force. It equates to universal spirit energy, that supports psycho-emotional awareness, to bring about compassion and overall wellbeing.
Reiki is complimentary, it is a safe vibrational energy that promotes balance, harmony and wholeness within the mind, body and spirit. It empowers the individual and promotes healing at a deep and holistic level. Reiki has the ability to replenish the body’s energy levels and to help to create a positive healing response throughout. Giving the recipient the feeling of deep relaxation, restoration and equilibrium.
Shoden is the first teachings of Reiki and it is also considered to be the foundation that
re-connects us to our natural and inherent universal life-force energy. The application of Reiki comprises of five key elements which defines and forms the system of traditional Reiki healing practiced world wide.
Murray River Reiki teaching is conducted in-line with professional standards set out by; ‘ARC’, The Association of Australian Reiki Professionals and ‘Shibumi’, International Reiki Association.

All students who complete the Murray River Reiki Shoden Level I Course will be proficient and ethical Reiki channels, able to demonstrate working knowledge of Level I.

Our Shoden Course is taught within two full days of instruction, over a period of (16) teaching hours. It specifically covers the teachings of the Usui system of Reiki, in the lineage of Traditional Japanese Reiki, “Usui Reiki Ryoho”.
