Top tips for keeping baby warm in colder weather!
- How many layers? Usually a good rule is one more than what you are wearing
- Use flannel sheets and a sleeping bag.. combine with a room thermometer so you know which level/grade sleeping bag to put Bub in
- beanies, soft caps and mittens make cute warm accessories when getting out and about - as fresh air is still good for both you and baby
- Jumpsuits (with or without built in mittens and booties) are a fabulous quick and easy warm option as a base layer under either clothes or a sleeping bag.

It's back to school Monday after a long break due to the corona virus!
Celebrate and be excited with your children - but keep health and safety (and common sense) the no. 1 priority as we head into colder weather.
Some tips for staying healthy:

-Wash or sanitise your hands regularly and avoid close -contact with someone who has a cold.
-Keep household surfaces clean as well as kids' toys when someone in the family has a cold.
-If you are ill, be sure to drink plenty of fluids, including water, hot tea and soups.
-Avoid alcohol and caffeine and get plenty of sleep.
-Keep up a good exercise routine - make it fun.

Experts say one way to protect ourselves from getting and spreading the coronavirus (COVID-19) is to stop touching our face, nose, and eyes so much. But how in young children??!! Check out this handy article from baby centre experts: https://www.babycenter.com/0_coronavirus-covid-19-how-not-to-touch-your-face-from-the-exp_40007016.bc?bclink=top-cta&liveconnect=c7d56e5dee5eba693eded909cfd11ef3&utm_source=email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=en_US_highlights_20200324_bigkid&pe=

Stopping face touching requires self-awareness, reducing triggers, and substituting behaviors. Get the details from the experts, The TLC Foundation for Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors.
