Receptionist/Administrator – Podiatry Clinic
Part-time position | 2 days per week (potential to increase to 5 days)

We're seeking a friendly and organised receptionist/administrator to join our podiatry clinic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for school-friendly hours in a supportive healthcare environment.

Hours: 9:30am – 2:30pm (perfect for parents with school-aged children), days are negotiable.

About the Role: You'll be the welcoming face of our clinic, providing essential administrative support while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. We're looking for someone who is reliable, personable, and enjoys variety in their workday.

Key Responsibilities:
• Greeting patients and managing appointments
• Answering phone calls and emails
• Processing patient referrals and correspondence
• Managing social media accounts
• Sterilising and maintaining clinical instruments
• Assisting patients with footwear fitting
• General clinic tidying and maintenance
• Stock control and ordering supplies
• Supporting the podiatrist with administrative tasks as needed

What We're Looking For:
• Computer literate with basic IT skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organised
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Experience in healthcare or reception is helpful but not essential – full training provided

What a fabulous Wattle Festival Day we had! Thousands of people came to Hurstbridge Village and we had front row seats. Wow, it’s a big day.

Two incredible artists joined us to celebrate.
art wowed us with her stunning resin jewellery and gorgeous paintings. We were smitten with her wattle pieces, preserved forever in resin. So perfect for the day - and she’s such fun to have around!

Jane Ashton, much-loved local Hurstbridge artist, chatted with visitors about her superb exhibition now gracing our rustic timber walls. Jane has a gift for capturing animals (especially pets!) and local landscapes. Our lucky patients are enjoying our waiting room - and so are we. 😍

Meanwhile, our own dream team, Kerensa (podiatrist) and Donna (remedial masseuse), were kept busy welcoming little treasure hunters as part of the Hurstbridge Village Trader Treasure Hunt.

Maps, smiles, and prizes everywhere!

We even spotted the steam train puffing away across the road 🚂 The cheeky rain showers could not dampen the festival fun.

Why would a podiatry practice hold art exhibitions? Can’t answer for everyone in the feet looking after business...but here in Hurstbridge the idea fits like a comfy shoe! Our patients are loving their ‘viewing’ time. 😍

For our beautiful old cottage with magnificent timber walls it just made sense. Especially when we work in the midst of so much artistic talent!

You’re invited to see our latest exhibition and the very first of the incredibly talented Jane Ashton, a Hurstbridge local legend. Some beautiful local scenery paintings and many gorgeous animal portraits - her speciality!

Browsers welcomed and commissions invited. Come and meet Jane - she’s great fun, too! Our opening night was fabulous and we’ll be sharing more soon.
