Health Studio's Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP's) and Sports Scientists are University qualified and trained to work with people considered to be 'High Risk', in addition to the general population and elite athletes. We have a thorough understanding of the physiology and mechanics of the human body and are best positioned to prescribe evidence based exercise, and get results! Utilising their extensive experience in the industry, and current best practice through continued education, our AEP's will ensure you receive the safest and most effective exercise options and advice available. If you want (or need) to get started with an exercise program but are anxious that you may be doing yourself more harm than good, we can help you reach your health and fitness goals safely and effectively. We believe that each and every person’s health needs are unique. We will individually assess your current situation and use this information to establish a personalised plan of action, specifically designed to meet your individual needs and goals. September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, a time to highlight the importance of early detection, prevention and ongoing support.

The role of exercise in prostate cancer:

Risk reduction: Regular physical activity such as walking, jogging or swimming is associated with a lower risk of developing prostate cancer.

Weight management & immunity: Exercise assists in maintaining a healthy weight and supporting immune function, both of which contribute to overall health.

During and after treatment: Structured, safe exercise can reduce treatment side effects, enhance recovery outcomes and improve quality of life.

💙 This month, we encourage men to prioritise their health, engage in regular movement, and take proactive steps in cancer prevention and recovery.

Two weeks ago, we looked back on Rob’s story from three years ago, when he first shared how stroke rehab at Health Studio was helping him regain movement, strength, and confidence.

Today, we’re excited to bring you an update straight from Rob himself 🙌. In this new clip, he talks about the progress he’s made since then and the big goals he’s achieved along the way.

Rob’s journey is a powerful reminder that recovery doesn’t stop after the first few months of rehab. With the right support, persistence, and specialised exercise, new milestones are always possible.
