✨Feeling grateful to everyone who joined us for our Healthy Knees Workshop on Sunday. It was such a wonderful opportunity to practise and learn together.
We explored alignment, the “hills and valleys” of the knees, and how we can better understand and work with our individual needs. Through our practice we experienced both stability and strength, as well as mobility and space in and around the knees, working with the whole body to support them, reduce stress, and create a deeper sense of balance.
It was a great morning. Thank you for being part of it and for your willingness to observe, adapt, and explore in your practice. 🙏🏼
Next term’s workshop we will be exploring, Healthy Neck & Shoulders, so keep an eye out for the date early next term.

All classes at Yoga Yatra are taught by Kylie Collard. Kylie began yoga in her teens and discovered Iyengar yoga in 1998. She has been teaching and living in the blue mountains for the past 20 years and has recently moved with her family to Woombah on the beautiful north coast for a sea change. Kylie became an accredited level II Iyengar yoga teacher in 2010 and currently holds an Intermediate Junior Level I certificate. She has been a long-term student of Lulu Bull and has travelled to Pune India and China to study with the Iyengar family.
Kylie started classes in Iluka in 2017 and welcomes new students of all ages and abilities.
Classes at Yoga Yatra are varied from beginner/senior to Intermediate level II. In class you are taught to explore the capacity of your body and harmonize it with a calm and focused mind.
Iyengar Yoga
Iyengar Yoga is accessible to anyone and adapts to the needs of the individual. Regular practice increases strength, stamina, suppleness and agility, improves posture, concentration and quietens the mind to promote well-being.
