The cold weather does make Carpal Tunnel symptoms worse.🧦❄🧤
Many people ask, if icing hands can relieve the Carpal Tunnel syndrome
(CTS) Symptoms then why does the cold weather make the symptoms worse?????🤔
The cold weather reduces the blood flow for a longer period of time. Chronically cold hands limit blood circulation further through vasoconstriction, a normal response of the body to conserve heat. When a person already has restricted blood circulation due to Carpal Tunnel, the two factors combine to make CTS much worse.
