After completing my degree, I found myself juggling post-grad studies (part-time), a full-time job, and a relationship. It wasn't easy. I'm sure between then and now, things have only gotten more difficult for today's students.

The relentless pursuit of academic excellence can feel like an uphill battle. 😥 From the pressure to ace every exam to the constant fear of falling behind, the university grind takes its toll.

🔑 Juggling classes, assignments, part-time jobs, and a social life is no easy feat. As you strive to meet sky-high academic standards (or your own expectations?), anxiety and self-doubt can become your closest companions.

🔍 If you're feeling overwhelmed by all of this, remember you're not alone. Lean on your mates for support, hit up your tutors for guidance, or chat with a counselor to develop strategies for managing stress.

When someone says something hurtful to you, it can feel like a punch straight to the heart. And you know what? It's okay to acknowledge that hurt. It's okay to feel upset, angry, or even betrayed by someone's words.

However, the damage is already done. Once those hurtful words are out there, they can leave a lasting mark. It's like a wound that takes time to heal. And just like physical wounds, emotional wounds need care and attention too.

Remember that you are not defined by what others say about you.

What did you like?" opens it up to discussing past interests, hobbies, or experiences you enjoyed previously. This gives you another opportunity to reflect and share things that were once meaningful or fulfilling to you.

Even if your current struggles make it hard to identify present interests, you can usually think back to past positive experiences and potentially uncover activities you may be able to reengage with as part of your counselling process.

Losing motivation and interest can be a sign of something deeper, like stress, burnout, or even depression. I've been there myself. And it doesn't have to define you.

You are not broken and losing motivation is a normal part of life. We all go through periods of feeling uninspired and lacking drive. you're not alone in this.

If you're struggling, know that there are people ready to listen and support you. You don't have to go through this alone. This is just a phase, and you'll rediscover your passion again soon. Until then, be kind to yourself and take it one day at a time.
