WEDNESDAY EVENING CLASSES

Hi everyone .. in the last month I've had regular requests for a later Wednesday class by those who can't make the one at 4.30. This has long standing regular attendees and I will keep it as is BUT .. I've had an idea ..
. I could offer a second class starting at 6pm - running for one hour. I wont be starting this until the New Year. I'll definitely put up a post up here when it's happening - and update the timetable graphic both here and on the website.

THURSDAY MORNING YOGA on tomorrow - 9am for 1 hour - Slow and Strong. This is a new class that is yet to attract many students but I'm still hopeful more people will turn up.

Each month we undergo a sequence of standard poses held for time - focussed on a particular theme. It includes a gentle warmup and time for relaxing afterwards but there is more strength required than usual.

While the class doesn't include any advanced poses you will need wrists and knees that don't suffer discomfort from weight bearing.

I'm back .. looking forward to seeing everyone. Saturday morning yin is on tomorrow (4th October) at 9am :) Pic is of the starting point for the International Dementia Walk in Bali on the 30th September - which I'm proud to say I took part in !!

POP-UP PILATES - MONDAY 22ND SEPTEMBER 5:30 to 6:30
Samantha will definitely be running this pop-up class on Monday - she apologises she missed the opportunity to meet you last Monday but hopes you can make it next week.
It would be great if you pay by cash - $15.00.

So sorry everyone but Samantha Pledger is unable to run the class tonight. If you knew of anyone else who was coming please pass on the information.

PILATES POP-UP
Exciting news - on Monday the 15th and 22nd of this month a Pilates class will run 5.30 to 6.30 in the studio. We are lucky to have Samantha Pledger available to instruct the class whilst up here holidaying on her block at Forrest Beach. Sam normally operates as a qualified Physiotherapist, Pilates Instructor, and Yogalates Instructor in Maryborough where she lives. Bookings aren't necessary but it would be helpful to email me (info@tamarindyoga.com.au) or message here in FB so Sam can anticipate numbers."

NEW CLASS TIMETABLE
Hi everyone .. CURRENT CLASSES WILL STAY AS IS. The new classes starting NEXT week (as of 19th August) will be:

Tuesday 5pm for 1 hour - Restorative Yin
This will be a blend of long held poses - some intended entirely for comfort (restorative) but most focussed on yin (big stretches). Happy to offer props and variations to accommodate those who want to stick with the comfort factor alone !!

Thursday 9am for 1 hour - Slow and Strong
A sequence of standard poses but held for time. We'll still have a gentle warmup and time for relaxing afterwards but expect to do more work than usual. While it wont include any advanced poses you will need wrists and knees that don't suffer discomfort from weight bearing.

These classes look to accommodate the majority of requests coming from the survey. If attendance isn't great after a couple of months I'll look at other choices - and always know you can communicate with me direct.

Still have openings for Friday mornings six week program - weekly classes of 1.5 hours - tailored to refining your understanding to empower your yoga practise (info in previous post).
