Have you been going to the gym and not seeing results. You are trying to build muscle and put on  weight you need two sources one protein and a lot of carbs. When you do not eat a lot of carbs and you do a lot of exercise and cardio or work really hard, your body will burn off the carbs you have eaten and after that you don’t have any more carbs to burn off your body will start burning your muscle for sugars and carbs and protein. Let you not see any results.
