Get ready to Bake it Blue! 💙🧁

Life Ur Way and Sunshine Cookie Co. are joining forces to raise money towards research and treatments for children born with genetic disorders ~ which is part of the Jeans for Genes cause.

We’ll be selling blue cupcakes in the Innisfail Emporium Arcade on Wednesday 20th August! You can also pre-order to avoid missing out. Message the Sunshine Cookie Co. page to order your delicious treats 😋 or else we’ll see you in the arcade on the day!

Words from our support worker -
Life Ur Way recently asked the Facebook community what their favourite part of the Innisfail Show is. After attending the show with Tiarna, it is so clear to me that my favourite part of the show as a support worker is watching participants step out of their comfort zone and achieve goals in an unfamiliar, and for some a daunting setting.
Tiarna had a smile from ear to ear from the moment I picked her up until dropping her back home. Tiarna is a pure thrill seeker! There was something so special about watching her come out of her shell and display her inner confidence. The Innisfail Show also gave her an opportunity to develop her independence by organising her ride tickets independently (counting them out, handing them over to the ticket collector AND appropriately interacting with them by saying thank you WITHOUT prompt!!).
Seeing other beautiful faces from our Life Ur Way community also around at the show having the time of their lives was an added bonus! Thank you, Tiarna and the Innisfail Show for, putting my stomach to the test, until next year!

Tiarna’s Birthday Trip to Cairns 🎉🎈

Tiarna celebrated her birthday in Cairns for the day with her support worker. Tiarna explored her personal style and shopped for new outfits. She also stepped out of her comfort zone and enjoyed Sushi Train for lunch!! The arcade brought about lots of smiles, laughter and of course Tiarna’s competitive side.

A fantastic day was had! 😊
