Life Ur Way’s NDIS Activity Group will be selling delicious cupcakes from Sunshine Cookie Co. to raise funds for the Children’s Medical Research Institute as part of the ‘Bake it Blue’ campaign for Jeans for Genes.

This cause is close to our hearts, and every cupcake sold helps support vital research into genetic conditions affecting children across Australia 💙

'Bake it Blue' is a part of Jeans for Genes, which holds special significance for both Life Ur Way and Sunshine Cookie Co.

Words from our support worker -
Life Ur Way recently asked the Facebook community what their favourite part of the Innisfail Show is. After attending the show with Tiarna, it is so clear to me that my favourite part of the show as a support worker is watching participants step out of their comfort zone and achieve goals in an unfamiliar, and for some a daunting setting.
Tiarna had a smile from ear to ear from the moment I picked her up until dropping her back home. Tiarna is a pure thrill seeker! There was something so special about watching her come out of her shell and display her inner confidence. The Innisfail Show also gave her an opportunity to develop her independence by organising her ride tickets independently (counting them out, handing them over to the ticket collector AND appropriately interacting with them by saying thank you WITHOUT prompt!!).
Seeing other beautiful faces from our Life Ur Way community also around at the show having the time of their lives was an added bonus! Thank you, Tiarna and the Innisfail Show for, putting my stomach to the test, until next year!
