🦟 Protect Yourself This Summer 🦟

As we move through the summer months, mosquito activity increases and so does the risk of Japanese Encephalitis (JE).

Japanese encephalitis is a rare but serious illness caused by the Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV). It is spread to humans by infected mosquitoes.

Campbell & Freebairn Chemist is supporting the community by offering Japanese Encephalitis vaccinations for NSW Health–eligible patients. This includes those who live or work in a designated high-risk Local Government Area (LGA) in NSW such as Inverell.

Other eligibility criteria includes:
• Working outdoors (farming, agriculture, animal handling)
• Living near piggeries, wetlands, or mosquito-prone areas
