My Support Link is hosting Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea on Friday, 22 May at 10:00am at our Invermay office (1/190 Invermay Road). This event is being held to raise funds for The Cancer Council, a cause that is very close to our hearts.

We warmly encourage all participants/family and staff of My Support Link to come along and get involved. A gold coin donation is requested for attendance, and any donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Ebony has been working towards her goals of building confidence in the kitchen, trying new recipes, and becoming more independent with cooking - and we couldn’t be prouder of how far she’s come! 🍋

Recently, she made her very own homemade lemonade, and it’s just one example of the amazing progress she’s making. Every step forward, no matter how big or small, is something worth celebrating, and Ebony continues to show dedication, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn.

We’re so proud of all that she is achieving and can’t wait to see what she creates next!

🌟 WE’RE HIRING - DISABILITY SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS - Casual Position 🌟

My Support Link is growing, and we’re looking for passionate, dedicated professionals to join our team in Launceston & George Town.

As a Disability Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting participants to achieve their NDIS goals, build independence, and live meaningful lives. Every interaction matters – your support will be respectful, intentional, and person-centered.

What We’re Looking For:

- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years experience in disability or community support (preferred)
- Current NDIS Screening Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid, CPR, Medication Endorsement
- Valid Driver’s License, Reliable Vehicle and Insurance
- Valid Australian Work Visa or Unrestricted Work
- Completion of NDIS Worker modules (or willing to)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of trauma-informed and strengths-based practice
- Ability to write clear, professional case notes
- Experience with SIL, ILO, SDA, or community-based supports (desirable)
- A genuine passion for empowering others

My Support Link is hosting Lego Building nights, available for all participants. Join us every Friday starting 1st of May from 4pm-6pm at The Hub @ 78 Pomona Road, Riverside - for a fun and creative LEGO building session!

Build on your own or team up with others - whether you're a master builder or just starting out, everyone is welcome. Come along, get creative, and see what you can create!
