✨ Did you know? ✨

At Our Time To Shine, our programs are thoughtfully designed and run by a qualified Diversional Therapist / Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator 💛

But what does that actually mean for you and your loved ones?

A Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator is a trained professional who creates and delivers meaningful, person-centred activities that support:
🌱 Social connection
🎨 Creativity and self-expression
💪 Physical wellbeing
🧠 Emotional and mental health

They take the time to understand each individual’s interests, strengths and goals, then design activities that are engaging, fun and purposeful — whether that’s community outings, art, movement, or building life skills.

These programs aren’t just about “keeping busy” — they are carefully planned to build confidence, independence and a real sense of belonging ❤️

Because everyone deserves the opportunity to shine in their own way 🌟

💙 World Autism Awareness Day 💙

Today, we stand together to celebrate, support, and better understand individuals on the autism spectrum.

At Our Time To Shine, we see the strengths, the uniqueness, and the incredible potential in every individual. Autism is not something to “fix” — it’s something to understand, respect, and embrace.

Understanding starts at home, grows in the community, and thrives when we create safe, inclusive spaces where everyone feels valued and supported.

We are proud to support our participants and their families every day — building confidence, connection, and opportunities to truly shine ✨

Autism Awareness
Understanding Starts at Home

Children and individuals on the autism spectrum experience the world in beautifully unique ways.
They notice the little things, feel deeply, and respond to the energy around them more than we sometimes realise.

A kind word, a calm tone, a moment of patience — these aren’t small things. They are everything.

At Our Time To Shine, we believe strong foundations begin at home, with understanding, compassion, and support.
Because when people feel safe, they thrive.

Let’s continue to lead with kindness, acceptance, and understanding — starting at home and flowing into our communities 💙

Happy International Women’s Day 💜

Today we celebrate the incredible women who make a difference every single day — the mothers, daughters, sisters, carers, and support workers who lead with strength, compassion and heart.

💚 March is Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month 💚

This month, we stand alongside individuals and families living with Cerebral Palsy — celebrating strength, resilience, and the incredible uniqueness of every person.

Cerebral Palsy doesn’t define a person. It’s just one part of who they are. Behind every diagnosis is a personality, a sense of humour, goals, dreams, and so much potential.

At Our Time To Shine, we believe in care from the heart. We believe in inclusion, accessibility, and creating spaces where every participant feels valued, supported, and empowered to shine in their own way ✨

Let’s use this month to:
💚 Raise awareness
💚 Promote inclusion
💚 Encourage understanding
💚 Celebrate abilities

To our participants and families living with Cerebral Palsy — we see you, we support you, and we are honoured to walk alongside you.
