✨ It’s Speech Pathology Week 2025! ✨
This week, we’re celebrating the incredible role speech pathologists play in helping people thrive at every stage of life.

From supporting little ones finding their first words to helping adults regain their voice, speech pathologists make a powerful difference — fostering wellbeing, confidence, connection, independence, inclusion, and opportunity.

At Kids at Play Therapy Services, our Speechie team (Josie, Courtney, Anabella and Yuchen) work alongside families every day to make communication accessible for all. This week, we’re shining a light on their amazing impact with all our young people and their families and the impact through communication!

🌐Connection through communication
Helping children build relationships and connect with family, friends, and their world.
🌟Confidence through communication
Supporting children to express themselves clearly and proudly in all environments.
🫂Inclusion through communication
Making communication accessible for every child — voice, AAC, Auslan, or Key Word Sign.
💪Empowerment through communication
Giving children the tools to share their needs, make choices, and have a voice.
🚀Opportunity through communication
Opening doors for children to learn, participate, and be active in their community.
💛Wellbeing through communication
Fostering children’s emotional connection, social skills, and overall development.
🔑Independence through communication
Building lifelong skills so children can communicate confidently in everyday life.

Are you looking for a fun and supportive way to get into Rugby Union? The Modified Rugby Program is a supported program for players with a disability (7-18+) with players having player mentors and also trained coaches to provide them the support they need to play this great game.

We are trying to support this program to commence at Ipswich Rangers Rugby Club, it is already running successfully for a number of years at other Brisbane Clubs. If you are interested contact Cam at cameron@gingercloud.org or have a chat with Pearce.
