Get a Check-Up for Your Medicine Cabinet 💊

Managing multiple pills, vitamins, and supplements can be a lot to handle.
Did you know you can have a professional pharmacist come to you for a free 30-minute review?
A Home Medicines Review (HMR) is a government-funded service designed to give you peace of mind. A pharmacist visits your home to ensure everything you’re taking—from prescriptions to over-the-counter vitamins—is safe, effective, and stored correctly.
Is this for you?

You might benefit from an HMR if you:
✅ Take 5+ medications daily.
✅ Feel confused about your dosage or timing.
✅ Recently left the hospital with new
prescriptions.
✅ worried about side effects or "clashing" meds.

How it works?
After the visit, your pharmacist sends a report to your GP. You’ll sit down with your doctor to discuss the recommendations and make sure your treatment plan is perfect for you.
The best part? If you have a Medicare or DVA card, it’s fully funded by the Federal Government.

Next Step:
Ask your GP if a Home Medicines Review is right for you. Let’s make sure your medicine is doing its job!

🌟Cervical Screening Awareness Month 🌟

Cervical screening is an essential tool in preventing cervical cancer – but many people are unsure if, or when, they need a test.

The Cervical Screening Test checks for human papillomavirus (HPV), which causes almost all cases of cervical cancer. Detecting HPV early saves lives by helping prevent cancer before it develops. You can choose to have a healthcare provider collect the sample using a speculum and small brush, or you can self-collect the sample using a small swab. Both options are equally as accurate at detecting HPV.

💬 If you are experiencing symptoms you are concerned about, or are unsure what applies to you, speak with your GP.

Call 3288 9266 or book online to see your GP.

💥Every appointment matters💥

When an appointment is missed without notice, it’s a missed opportunity to help a patient in need. We kindly ask for at least 4 hours' notice if you cannot attend, so we can offer that time to someone else who may be waiting for urgent care.

Thank you for your kindness and for helping us provide care to all our patients

The sun has set on the holidays—but what did it leave behind? 🏖️

We love an Aussie summer, but your skin might feel differently. UV damage adds up silently, and those long days by the pool can lead to changes you might not see yet.

Time for a check-up if you:

✅ Spent plenty of time outdoors lately
✅ Had a sunburn (even a mild one!)
✅ Haven't had a skin check in a year
✅ Spotted a new or changing freckle

Don’t wait for "later." Beat the January rush and book your skin check now.

This November, as part of Lung Cancer Awareness Month, we’re focusing on raising awareness about the steps you can take to lower your risk of lung cancer.

While smoking remains the leading cause of lung cancer, there are several other proactive measures you can take to protect your health, including maintaining a healthy lifestyle, reducing exposure to harmful chemicals, and monitoring any respiratory symptoms. Early detection through screening is key to improving outcomes.

We are committed to supporting you in staying ahead of lung cancer with the National Lung Cancer Screening Program. If you're between 50-70 years old, have a history of smoking, and show no symptoms of lung cancer, you may be eligible for a free screening. Early detection through a low-dose CT scan can make all the difference in improving survival rates.

Book an appointment with your GP today to discuss your eligibility for the screening program.

For a wide variety of reasons, men can find it difficult to seek help with their health concerns. If they break a bone, they won’t delay getting it fixed. But when it comes to prevention and seeking emotional support, seeking medical help is typically not a priority for men. .

This year Movember is focusing on 3 key areas of men’s health:

💥Mental health
💥Prostate Cancer
💥Testicular Cancer
