Dr Lauren Brockie is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency and a fully approved supervisor. Qualifications include a Phd in Psychology, Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioural Science (Psychology), a Post Graduate Degree in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology and a Masters of Clinical Psychology. Dr Brockie works with adults, couples, adolescents, families and organisations. With a warm and practical approach she works with individuals experiencing:

anxiety disorders;
relationship difficulties;

sleep problems;
grief and loss;
adjustment issues;
social functioning problems; and

Dr Brockie has experience working in the area of pain management, adjustment to injury and physical and Psychological WorkCover claims. In organisational settings Dr Brockie has conducted career coaching and performance management, and provided worker support, stress management, team building, staff conflict resolution, and workplace rehabilitation. Dr Brockie has previously worked with in private practice, Queensland Health, Disability Services Queensland and within public and private schools. She is experienced in designing and conducting group programs such as: anxiety; resilience and self-esteem for children, adolescents and adults; stress management; team building; and coping with change. By supporting and challenging her clients, Dr Brockie enjoys assisting them with reaching their goals. Dr Brockie is available for sessions by appointment only and is available for consultation utilising private referrals, Mental Health Care Plans (Bulk Billing available to those on a Health Care Card or Pension Card), WorkCover and Department of Veterans Affairs.
