Give it a go for your dinner :-)
One of my Favourite Meals is another new post that we are doing with meals provided by some of our slimmers :-)
Here is our first one, let us know what you think.
Name: Paul F
Name of MY Meal – Beef & Vege
If it’s from our Recipe Book, which page and Meal plan is it from?
-Just reading the recipe book, I just get ideas since I love cooking as well
What I love about this meal – Beef is so soft and fat is well reduced
-Simple and quick to prepare. Broth that I made here can be used for other meals.
-Combination of protein, vegetables and fruits all in one plate.
How I cooked the meal
-Pressure cooking the beef for 35 mins, just plain water, fresh garlic and onion with it. I this way I reduced the fat as well. I do have plans as well for the broth in making other ideas for my diet meals. I simmer, reduce and skim the excess oil to make a clear broth.
-Once the beef is drained, I dash it with chopped herbs and roast it for 5 minutes since the beef is already soft.
-I use cut cost lettuce, diced cucumber and diced pear to make my salad more appetizing. I don’t add dressing I kept my salad meal simple.
Herbs or condiments used. –
-Rosemary, oregano, thyme, marjoram, cracked pepper and Cajun
How I served the meal –
-On a plate I lines the beef on one side, then placed the tossed lettuce, cucumber and pear on the other side
What do others think of it? –
-Others say they would add some grated carrots but my opinion is there would be a conflict of taste with the pear. I want a bit of sweetness to balance the kick of bitterness in the leafy greens. Meat is seasoned well.
