Ever feel like you’re constantly “on” - even when you’ve had a break? That can be a sign your body is operating in a chronic stress response, rather than a balanced state of rest and recovery.

Here are a few common signs your nervous system may be under strain:
• Difficulty switching off or relaxing
• Poor or disrupted sleep
• Feeling tense, anxious, or easily overwhelmed
• Fatigue that rest doesn’t seem to fix
• Brain fog or trouble concentrating
• Holding tension in the jaw, shoulders, or body

When the body is under ongoing stress, it can stay in a heightened state for longer than we realise - and over time, this can impact how we feel both physically and emotionally.

The good news is, your nervous system is adaptable. Small, consistent practices like slow breathing, gentle movement, and intentional rest can help support a return to balance.

Hi, I’m Katy ✨ For those who are new here, I’m the face behind B.blissd - a space I created to help people slow down, reconnect & feel more at home in themselves. My work blends yoga, meditation & holistic therapies, but at the heart of it all is a simple intention: to support you in returning to your own sense of balance & calm in the middle of everyday life. ✨

Over time, I’ve come to understand that the “bliss” we’re often searching for isn’t something we need to chase - it’s something we can gently reconnect with. Sometimes it feels strong & steady, and other times it can feel harder to access when life gets busy or overwhelming. The practices I use daily - yoga, meditation, and aromatherapy - are what help me stay grounded, present & connected to that inner sense of ease.

B.blissd is an extension of that journey. A space to share these tools in a way that feels supportive, accessible & real.
