What a beautiful morning 💚 Almost 150 guests joined us at the Regina and Vicki Doig Morning Tea, raising more than seventeen thousand dollars to support cancer care research across West Moreton.

Your generosity continues to drive the impact of the Regina and Vicki Doig Scholarship, investing in local researchers who are working to improve outcomes and experiences for people in our region.

Congratulations to 2025 scholarship recipient Guru Sule, and thank you for sharing your upcoming research exploring the use of ginger and vitamin B6 to help manage nausea and vomiting in oncology settings. Your work highlights the practical, patient-focused improvements that cancer care research can deliver.

Thank you to everyone who attended, donated and supported this special event. We are deeply grateful to our event partner CSI - Club Services Ipswich and to our valued supporters including MIACOR IT, Ipswich Quota, Obsession Shoes Boutique, Ipswich Girls' Grammar School and Summer Land Camels.

It is a true honour to stand alongside Vicki Doig in celebrating Regina’s life and continuing her legacy through the Regina and Vicki Doig Scholarship.

What an incredible morning at the Regina and Vicki Doig Morning Tea 💛 Thank you to our event partners, CSI - Club Services Ipswich.

With almost 150 people in the room, the morning tea brought together an incredible show of community support in what was a warm and generous event.

This year marks the 6th year of The Regina & Vicki Doig Morning Tea, and we are excited to invite you along 💛

It's a very special event, bringing our community together to raise funds for local cancer care research right here in West Moreton.

All proceeds from the morning tea go directly to the Regina and Vicki Doig Research Scholarship for Cancer Care, which supports clinicians doing vital cancer care research in our region.

This fundraising morning tea is especially close to the heart of Vicki Doig, a much-loved local Ipswich resident, who created the scholarship in memory of her sister Regina, who sadly passed away from lymphoma in 1987 at just 39 years old. Through this morning tea, Regina’s legacy lives on by helping improve cancer care for others.
