Every parent wants to see their child thrive — to have purpose, connection and confidence in what comes next.

For many families, the biggest worry comes after school ends. The routine, the friendships, the sense of achievement — it can all disappear too quickly, leaving young people unsure of what’s next.

That’s where UnitingCare’s Project SEARCH steps in.

This 12-month transition-to-work program gives young people with disability the chance to keep growing through structured, hands-on workplace learning, daily support from job coaches, and real experiences in professional environments.

Over 80% of Project SEARCH graduates move on to open employment — but more importantly, they gain the independence, confidence and community that come from having a meaningful place to belong each day.

Because progress shouldn’t pause when school ends. 💙
