Finally! It’s time to pick up these freeloading b!tches and hit the road! 🤣🤣After months of no productivity, we have managed to keep what remains of them in kind of good enough condition to begin taking them to almond pollination. Even though this will drop their condition somewhat and extend their time of no honey production, it’s a vital part of our operations to provide this service to the orchards in the Riverland. No pollination = no food. AND in further good news, we’ve had rain! Not as though it came in time to be of much use to us, but it will go towards setting up the flowering for spring. So fingers crossed it’s a better spring than last. Also, it’s just such a relief to see green on the ground for the farmers sheep and cattle. Oh and if anyone happens to see Mr Craig Honan about, please give him a slap on the back and a hearty handshake for being an A1, top class, all round good guy and awesome human. He very quietly and unobtrusively stepped up with a helping hand that helped us navigate a very dark time for us. And we are grateful. So very, very grateful. Thank you Craig and family. And now back to shifting bees!🐝
