✨ Meet Anna — the powerhouse leading Clinical Services at Fly2 Health ✨
If you’ve ever wondered what drives our mission, our culture, and our impact across rural and remote Australia… meet the woman behind so much of it.
Here’s what Anna had to say when we asked her about her journey:
💬 Tell us about your role with Fly2 Health.
“My role is Director of Clinical Services that involves growth, development, happiness, hiring, clinical excellence, governance, getting these incredible clinicians on board and on planes and out to help rural and remote communities across Australia. It's also about career opportunities and progression which is something that we are really proud of doing well at Fly2Health.”
💬 What motivates you to be a leader at Fly2 Health every day?
“What motivates me is helping rural and remote communities first and foremost, giving career opportunities to clinicians in allied health and I suppose staying really engaged and passionate and motivated in some really incredible and rewarding professions.”
💬 Favourite moment so far?
“Oh there's been a lot of favourite moments. Probably one of my most favourite moments, there's a couple of favourite moments.
One of the standout opportunities or experiences has been practising as a clinician and going out to the seriously remote areas into the Indigenous communities in the Gulf of far north Queensland where there's a lot of untouched and unmet need and the reward stepping onto those islands or into those communities and being the person that can help make a difference and that certainly left a mark on me and my professional career.”
💬 What would you tell someone thinking about joining Fly2 Health?
“I would say this is one of the most incredible opportunities you can say yes to as a clinician. You get the most incredible skill set very fast, you become a generalist, you leave this job with experiences that will match nothing like your peers or colleagues had in a city clinic. We don't have a boring day, we don't have four white walls and a fluorescent light and beautiful resources and photocopiers but we've got creativity, we've got initiative, we've got real practical skills that we apply every day to make a difference in really unresourced areas.”
