Wambo Medical (Jandowae) require an EEN or RN to join their growing team. Starting April, we require someone to work Tuesday and Wednesdays and thereafter, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays on a permanent basis. GP experience preferred or an applicant willing to learn more about Primary Care.

We require a team player, someone who has an interest in chronic disease management, skin cancer and general health. Computer skills essential.

We’re excited to welcome Kathleen McCosker to our practice! 🌱

Kathleen is an experienced Exercise Physiologist offering support in injury rehabilitation, strength and balance training, chronic disease management, diabetes education, and Pilates. Her warm, approachable nature and evidence-based care make her a wonderful addition to our team.

Kathleen will be seeing patients at our practice, with referrals accepted via GPMP, DVA, NDIS and Private Health.

Wambo Supports Decembeard! Let's Talk Bowel Health! 🩺
Throughout December, Wambo Medical Practice is getting behind Decembeard! This fun campaign encourages growing facial hair to raise awareness and vital funds for Bowel Cancer Australia.

Bowel cancer is Australia’s second deadliest cancer, but it's one of the most curable if detected early.

The Most Important Conversation You Can Have:
Your beard (or your support for someone growing one) is a great conversation starter! Use it to remind yourself and your loved ones about the importance of screening.

Age 50+ (or 45+): You should be participating in the FREE National Bowel Cancer Screening Program (a simple home test kit sent in the mail). If you've received your kit, please don't put it off—do the test!

Know the Symptoms: Don't wait for the test if you have symptoms. Talk to us immediately about persistent changes in bowel habits, blood in your stool, unexplained weight loss, or abdominal pain.

What Can Wambo Do?
Our Doctors are here to discuss your risk factors, review your screening history, and complete referrals for follow-up if needed. Early detection saves lives!
