🏇💐 Melbourne Cup Magic at Taralga! 💐🏇
The race that stops the nation definitely didn’t stop us! Our residents rocked their best fascinators, dapper hats, and fancy ties for a Cup Day full of smiles, sweeps, games, scrumptious food and serious horse banter. 😉🐎
We hold our very own residents race in the morning then enjoy a luncheon freshly prepared by the Taralga Kitchen. Many delicious options were on offer to choose from including Taralga's iconic ribbon sandwiches and prawn cocktails, and of course an array of sweet treats for dessert.
The race had us on the edge of our seats with anticipation, ending with loud cheers, a few disappointed sighs, and some "better luck next year"...
We may not have picked all the right horses, but we definitely backed the best company and the tastiest lunch!
Thank you to the Activities Team and everyone involved in making today such a wonderful time, and to the kitchen team for putting together such a scrumptious spread.
