🌟 A Big Thank You to Sutherland Shire Council’s Young Leaders Network! 🌟

In December, we partnered with the amazing Young Leaders Network to organise a charity appeal for Enough is Enough. Thanks to the incredible generosity of the council staff, we collected food hampers and gift cards, which were distributed to community members needing a helping hand before Christmas.

Your kindness and support made a real difference during the holiday season, bringing joy and relief to many families. 💛

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated – your generosity was greatly appreciated and truly shows the power of community.

We’re stepping up for change!

The Birdie team is joining the UN Women Australia Safe. Everywhere. Always. Challenge and over the next 16 days (25th November–10th December), we’re taking on individual challenges of either 30km, 60km, or 100km to raise awareness and take a stand against domestic violence.

Here’s why this matters:
💔 1 in 3 women will experience domestic violence in their lifetime.

We are proud supporters of Enough is Enough Anti Violence Movement Inc., and we want to help amplify the message that everyone deserves to feel safe—everywhere, always. This challenge is just one way we’re walking the walk. 🚶

📣 We’d love for you to walk alongside us! Take on the challenge with us, and let’s make an impact together. If you’re in, tag us in your posts or stories, and we’ll send you a Birdie bottle as a thank-you for stepping up!

Over the next 16 days, we’ll share our team’s progress and stories along the way. Let’s do this together! 🐦

🌏💙 World Kindness Day - November 13, 2024 💙🌏

Today, let’s celebrate the power of kindness and its impact on our communities! Kindness can be as simple as a smile, a listening ear, or a helping hand—and it’s a gift we can give freely to each other.

Let’s unite to make our neighborhoods warmer, safer, and more connected by practicing compassion and understanding, one small act at a time. Whether it’s supporting a friend, volunteering, or just showing a stranger some kindness, every little gesture counts.

Let’s make kindness contagious! How will you show kindness today? 💙

🎄 Help Us Spread Christmas Cheer 🎄

For some families, Christmas can be a difficult time, both emotionally and financially. Enough Is Enough has started collecting items for our 2024 Christmas hampers, which will be donated to people in need within our community.

If you and your family would like to contribute, please email team@enoughisenough.org.au to arrange a collection. Every donation—big or small—makes a difference and helps bring a little joy to those who need it most.

Thank you for your kindness and support this holiday season! 💖

🎯 Focus on What You Can Control 🎯

In life, there are things we can control and things we can’t. Learning to recognise the difference can help us manage stress and focus our energy on what truly matters.

By focusing on what’s within our control, we can find peace and make positive changes in our lives, no matter the challenges we face.
