We were so pleased to welcome Hearing Australia's Karen Sawyer recently to our Pharmacies and she shared these lovely words with us!
"Hello for those who do not know me my name is Karen Sawyer I am a Community Hearing Advisor with Hearing Australia. I am sure over the years you may have seen me in and around your towns. I just wanted to send a letter and congratulate the work that Eric and his wife Thais do. Hearing Australia has been visiting your communities for the past 3-4 years offering FREE hearing checks, due to the amazing work that Eric does supporting his towns and making sure services are provided throughout all 3 pharmacies.
I cannot believe the energy he gives to everyone, without people like Eric I believe your towns would not be the same. Taking on 3 pharmacies must be a huge, however very rewarding job. Watching him drive between towns making sure the pharmacy doors are open when ever possible, so everyone has access to obtain their scripts and medications, including the tourists who drive through your town and needing this service. So I say THANKYOU Eric.
My last visit to all 3 towns was early this month and I am so pleased to say that once again Eric got the towns involved and I ended up screening in total 47 people and out of this 23 are going on for further testing. It is truly amazing to think we have helped so many people on their Hearing Health Journey.
I hope everyone gets behind me and next time you see Eric say thank you! As a community you should all be very proud to have him working tirelessly for you all
