Today we held our ANZAC Day service, and it was truly a special and meaningful occasion.
A huge thank you to our guest speaker, John Jennings, and his family for sharing their time with us. We are also so grateful to our residents who bravely shared their stories—your words made the service incredibly personal and moving.
Thank you to all residents and families who joined us; it was an honour to come together in remembrance.
Lastly, a big thank you to our wonderful wellbeing team, who have done a fantastic job and worked tirelessly alongside John over the past few weeks to bring this service together.

The Late Bloomers Garden Club have been hard at work in the courtyard gardens 🌿
Digging, planting, and even discovering plenty of cheeky grubs along the way, our residents enjoyed getting their hands dirty and sharing lots of laughs together.
After all that effort, they sat back in the sunshine with a well-earned cuppa, admiring the beautiful space they continue to create ☀️☕

Today our residents enjoyed a wonderful visit from Musicality 🎶
There was plenty of toe-tapping, singing along, and lots of laughter as everyone enjoyed a fantastic mix of songs and light-hearted jokes. It was a truly uplifting experience that brought smiles to so many faces and filled the room with joy.

Celebrating an incredible milestone 💛
Mr and Mrs Schroeder have recently celebrated their 72nd wedding anniversary — a truly remarkable achievement. At 94 and 96 years young, their love story is one that continues to inspire us all.
Their wedding was a small and humble celebration in Germany, held shortly after the war. In 1959, they made the brave decision to leave their homeland and begin a new life in Australia — building a future together filled with resilience, strength, and love.
The photo shared is from their wedding day 72 years ago. While times and appearances may have changed, one thing has remained constant — the deep love and admiration they have for one another. To them, they are still as beautiful as ever, and their bond remains just as meaningful.
A heartfelt thank you to their daughter Petra for sharing their beautiful story and treasured memories with us. 💐

Today our residents had a fantastic time getting creative by making “moon rocks” inspired by the exciting world of USA astronauts and space exploration 🚀🌕
There was plenty of fun, laughter, and hands-on creativity as everyone got involved in this out-of-this-world activity. It was a wonderful way to spark imagination, reminisce about historic space journeys, and enjoy something a little different together.
A great day had by all! 🌟

Happy Easter

Residents and staff enjoyed a very special visit from the Easter Bunny today! 🐰✨
There were smiles all around as our residents were treated to delicious sweets, a beautiful Easter lunch, and an afternoon filled with fun games, laughter, and wonderful company. The Easter Bunny also made time to visit our amazing staff, spreading joy and a few extra smiles throughout the day.

A big thank you to our incredible Resident wellbeing team who once again did a brilliant job creating such a joyful and memorable day for everyone. Your dedication and care never go unnoticed 💛

Our herb garden in the Memory Support Unit is absolutely thriving! 🌱
We’re now growing beautiful snow peas, and our lemon grass is coming along so quickly. It’s been wonderful to see our residents so involved—enjoying watering, weeding, and spending time together in the garden.

Our connection boxes are created with so much thought and care for our MSU residents, supporting meaningful 1:1 time between staff and residents. These special moments encourage reminiscing about past occupations, hobbies, and life experiences.
This particular “Connection First Aid Box” was thoughtfully designed for our memory support residents who once worked in the health field. It has been a wonderful way to spark memories, conversations, and a sense of purpose, bringing comfort and connection to those who use it. 💙
