Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating St Patrick’s Day today! 🍀
The day was full of fun with green ice creams, green milkshake making, armchair travel to Ireland, and a lively word game. There was plenty of Irish laughter and smiles shared throughout the day.
A big thank you to Catering Industries for putting on a fantastic St Patrick’s Day lunch for everyone. What a great day of celebration, fun, and community! 🍀

Today our residents and staff came together to celebrate International Women’s Day 💜
Purple, the symbolic colour of the day, filled our space with beautiful decorations, and everyone enjoyed delicious purple cupcakes to mark the occasion.
One of the highlights was our Women’s Panel, where residents shared their thoughts and experiences about life as women. They reflected on the changes they have seen over the years and discussed how different life is for women today compared to when they were younger.
It was a wonderful opportunity for conversation, reflection, and celebrating the strength, resilience, and achievements of women across generations.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make the day so special.

💙 Denim for Dementia Awareness Day
Today our residents and staff proudly wore denim to support dementia awareness.
Our MSU residents had a wonderful time enjoying our interactive Omi sensory projector. The engaging lights, colours, and movement created a fun and stimulating experience for everyone, bringing lots of smiles and laughter.
It was a fantastic day supporting an important cause while creating meaningful moments together.

Today we held a fundraiser to support Goldie Rose and her family.
A huge thank you to our residents, their families, and staff who generously donated and supported this special cause. Your kindness and community spirit truly made the day wonderful.
Special thanks to Mark from Maintenance for cooking the BBQ and to our lovely resident Beryl for serving everyone.
A massive thank you also goes to our Resident Well-being Team for organising and making this fundraiser possible.
We are so grateful for such an amazing and caring community.

Today we celebrated a very special milestone — 5 wonderful years of Jimboomba Community Aged Care. How quickly the time has passed.
What makes this anniversary so meaningful isn’t just the years, but the beautiful community we have built together. Our residents, their families, and our dedicated team came together to celebrate with heartfelt smiles, music from our wonderful entertainer Ian, a stunning birthday cake, dancing, and so many joyful laughs.
Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. It’s about connection, compassion, and creating a place that truly feels like home.
A heartfelt thank you to our incredible staff and volunteers. Your compassion, dedication, and genuine care make all the difference each and every day. We are so grateful for the warmth and kindness you bring to our community.
We are truly thankful to everyone who has been part of our journey over the past five years. Here’s to the memories we’ve made and the many more still to come. 💛🎂 # music

🌿 Fresh from our garden to our table 🌿
Our MSU residents in a cooking class picked red and yellow basil, chives, and parsley straight from our garden and turned them into the most delicious homemade herb dip. Mixed with garlic and cream cheese, then spread onto crunchy crackers — simple, fresh, and full of flavour!
We shared it together with our co-residents during a lovely picnic under the gazebo. Good food, fresh air, and even better company 💛
