The Five Elements of Emotional Intelligence
💭Self-awareness is the ability to identify and comprehend one's own emotions and how they influence others. It enables individuals to acknowledge their strengths and weaknesses and understand how their emotions can shape their actions and interactions with those around them.
💭Self-regulation is the ability to control one's emotions and impulses while adjusting to changing situations. It enables individuals to stay calm in stressful situations, make thoughtful decisions, and avoid impulsive actions that could lead to negative outcomes.
💭Motivation is the ability to use emotions to drive and guide behaviour. It helps individuals set goals, stay focused on achieving them, and maintain persistence even when faced with challenges.
💭Empathy is the skill of understanding and acknowledging the emotions of others, and to respond appropriately. It helps individuals to connect with others emotionally, form meaningful connections and to build positive relationships.
💭Social skills involve communicating effectively, building relationships, and navigating social situations. These skills enable individuals to work effectively in teams, resolve conflicts, and lead with confidence.
