A lot of Mums I work with come in thinking they need to eat less to lose weight.

So they skip breakfast.
Keep the morning “light.”

Feels like they’re being good, right?

By the time the afternoon hits
⬇️ Energy is low.
⬇️ Patience is low.
⬆️ Hunger is high.

That’s when the snacking starts.
That’s when portions creep up.

Not because you lack discipline, but because your body is trying to get the energy it missed earlier.

So instead of asking “how can I eat less?”
Ask, “how can I fuel better?”

So here’s your plan

Every morning this week, eat this:
👉 1 slice toast
👉 2 boiled eggs
👉 Piece of fruit (like an apple or banana)

OR if you prefer something quicker:
👉 ¾ cup Greek yoghurt
👉 Handful of berries
👉 Sprinkle cinnamon

Pick one. Stick to it.

No skipping.
No guessing.

It’s about setting your day up so everything feels easier.
✔️ More energy.
✔️ Fewer cravings.
✔️ Better choices without overthinking.

This is body composition in real life. Less focus on just “losing weight” and more focus on building muscle and strength, improving shape, and changing how her body actually looks and feels.

Because relying only on the scale? It misses the whole point.

She didn’t restrict her food. She didn’t put her life on hold. Holidays were enjoyed, routines weren’t perfect, but she stayed consistent where it mattered.

And this is what’s possible.

When you stop chasing the lowest number and start working on your body composition, everything shifts.

Same weight (almost). Completely different physique. A whole different level of confidence.

Simple eating takes care of your energy, late night snacking, hormones, and allows you to eat more and still lose weight.

Stop overcomplicating what doesn't need to be.

Some fun and surprising facts you might not know about me

1. I'm 43 years old (nearly wrote 42 🫣 but then remembered I just had a birthday)

2. I had to have an even number of kids. Yep, when we fell pregnant with #3, I knew we would also be having a 4th in a few years.

3. We struggled to fall pregnant with our 3rd and got help with my fertility as I wasn't ovulating.

4. We lived overseas for 4 years and our last 2 babies were born while we were overseas.

5. I have been married for 23 years.

6. I own my own business helping Mums every single day lose weight and regain their confidence.

7. I am a massive introvert but once I find my tribe you would never know!

8. I moved out of home when I was 17. I learnt a lot and grew up very quickly through these years.

9. I am fiercely protective of those I love. Cross the people dearest to me and you'll wish you hadn't (yep, there's a fiery side in me most have never seen haha)

10. I have goals, big goals!! Personal, business, financial, and family. I am slowly seeing these come to light and I'm excited!

Cravings don’t mean you lack willpower.

You don’t need to cut things out, you just need better options ready for those moments.

Try this instead:
Craving something sweet? Go for berries
Craving something salty/crunchy? Go for popcorn

Same vibe, just works better for your goals.
Do that, and cravings stop running your day.

It's common to look for a reason as to why what we're doing to lose weight isn't working. I'm not saying these things won't make it harder, but they're definitely not the main reason.
