Introducing Dr Jack Kemp (Chiro)

After coming on board with McLindon Chiropractic in July this year, Dr Jack has quickly found his niche. New and regular clients have found his treatment, care and kind personality a healing experience. Over the last 3 years Jack has worked in numerous clinics throughout Australia, he is now happily settling in to a lengthy innings with McLindon Chiro. If you are new to Mclindon Chiro or have been coming to see the team for years, feel free to ask to see Jack with your Chiro health needs.

Dr Jack’s chiropractic journey began like many other Chiro’s. Numerous sporting injuries left him frequently seeking Chiropractic care for relief, recovery and prevention of injury, From here, his interest in chiropractic grew.

Jack completed his Chiropractic degree at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic in Auckland. Jack advocates that a concerted effort in preventative health care, not only optimises current health and wellbeing, but is an investment in future years of continued vitality.

Jack utilises manual adjustive and low force techniques, soft tissue therapies, postural recommendations and stretches to facilitate spinal correction. From delivering gentle relief of the pain associated with arthritis to the more vigorous techniques required to treat the competitive athlete or manual labourer. Jack also offers his knowledge and experience in utilising the effective and often overlooked modalities of joint mobilisation, musculo-tendinous manipulation, active muscle release, trigger point and soft tissue therapies, postural exercise and rehabilitation awareness advice.

McLindon Chiropractic would like to announce that Dr Madeleine White will be staying on with us, Dr Maddy started with us in November last year on what was going to be a short term appointment. She understands the importance of spinal function not only for performance and endurance, but also for trauma recovery. She has a particular interest in stress management and lifestyle factors that can alleviate chronic pain.

Maddy utilises manual adjustive and low force techniques, soft tissue therapies, breathing and postural recommendations and stretches to facilitate spinal correction.

McLindon Chiropractic would like to warmly welcome our new Chiropractor, Dr Rachel McKinnon to our team!

Dr Rachel McKinnon, like many other chiropractors chose her career after experiencing the many benefits of chiropractic treatment. From a young age, she became familiar with the relief she could expect from adjustments, the speedy recovery time from sporting injuries and the body’s increased ability to deal with stress and fatigue if she was regularly adjusted.

Studying at Macquarie University in Sydney, she graduated from a Masters Degree in Chiropractic Science in 2013. Since then, she has spent her years of practice in South-East Queensland, servicing country communities. It is in this setting that she feels most at home. The ability of offering a health service in a rural community adds so much more to the rewards she takes from working to help people achieve their optimal health and vitality.

As well as being a valued asset to our practice, Rachel is a busy mum of two young boys, a keen netballer and a talented cook. Children of all ages enjoy her gentle adjusting, her genuinely calm and caring approach helps anyone who is a little apprehensive about chiropractic care.

Rachel is proficient in manual adjustive techniques, soft tissue therapies, low force techniques and activator. She regularly advices and instructs the use of rehabilitative and preventative kinesiotaping, stretches and exercise. She utilises dry needling where necessary and enjoys preparing a goal-focussed approach to care rather than repetitive symptom-relief care.

We are very proud and fortunate to have Dr Rachel join the team at McLindon Chiropractic and we are confident that her skills and caring personality will be a welcome addition to our clinic.
