Every year we donate $500 to a local community group that are working hard to create a better world for others (or have the potential to do so). This year our Community Grant went to Centenary Craft Circle https://www.facebook.com/groups/centenaryknittingandcrochetcircle/ , who knit, crochet, and sew to donate items to Ronald McDonald House, Rosie’s on the Street, Ipswich and Mater Mothers hospitals, Meals on Wheels and some local nursing homes. They also brighten our neighbourhood every year with their 'Yarn in the Park' displays.
