Together in 2015 Rod & Anne started to extract the essential oil of the wild Kanuka growing naturally on their property by a gentle wood fired steam distillation process. The distillate or hydrosol is collected, separated, filtered then bottled. 100% pure, organic and sustainable. After losing Anne to a terminal illness in 2019, Rod and his family are once again firing up the steam engine, re-establishing Anne's passion but with the help of his three now adult children.
