Then transforms not only the essential oil but the distillate Kanuka Hydrosol into many more wonderful everyday household items. The Kanuka Story.....
Nestled in the rolling foothills of Mt Baw Baw in West Gippsland, Victoria, Jindivick is a naturally beautiful place to live with a caring conscientious community. Affected by the 2009 bushfires most of the Plant family's 40 acre bush property was s
corched but in nature's wisdom to heal itself it has been re-colonized with the indigenous Australian plant Kanuka, also known as Burgan, white tea-tree or white Manuka. Together in 2015 Rod & Anne started to extract the essential oil of the wild Kanuka growing naturally on their property by a gentle wood fired steam distillation process. The distillate or hydrosol is collected, separated, filtered then bottled. 100% pure, organic and sustainable. After losing Anne to a terminal illness in 2019, Rod and his family are once again firing up the steam engine, re-establishing Anne's passion but with the help of his three now adult children. Knowing how much Kanuka Australia meant to their beautiful mother and wife, they are carrying on strong and boldly to help as many as possible with the naturally healing capabilities that are held within Kunzea Ericoides. The quality products are all grown and produced with loving intention and perseverance to show the world what Kanuka Australia has to offer.
