Well what a week that was! But grateful to be back at home and I got to see my son start his first day of big school 💓
In that week I went from ED, admitted to hospital and unsure if emergency surgery was required or not is alot, plus having my kids at home which always feels harder when I'm not there.
In that time of waiting and the uncertainty I realised what I was in control of in that time. There are things that are out of control but how we choose to respond is key. I noticed I was more calm, trusting in the unfolding and making sure I was voicing my questions, and ensuring I was practicing my rights with who I choose to be part of my medical team. Before, I would just say yes and go along with it.
Luckily emergency surgery was not the case, but minor surgery is still required in the next few weeks. All fingers crossed for a speedy recovery then 🤞
I share this because even though I went through a vulnerable situation I still followed my practices I have installed overtime, which is now my new normal. I know my non negotiables and have the confidence to follow this through ✨️ and this is all what I want for others 🙏
