Nurse Practitioner .miraclinic and our dermal therapy team in Joondalup have been performing Exion treatments for over 2 years now, and our patients are loving their results. This has made us one of the busiest Exion providers in the country.

In the process of performing all of these treatments we have become experts in getting the best results from the device and helping our clients to understand what to expect from their treatments.

As a part of our commitment to continual improvement and education, in this video we can see .miraclinic sharing her insights and experience on using the Exion device while Julie, the Head of Clinical affairs watches on.

Because the Exion does not use laser energy, it can be safely used without protective goggles, meaning it is possible to treat the skin under the eyes, right up almost to the eyelashes. The collagen and elastin stimulated by this treatment results in smoother brighter skin and less wrinkles.

Our AviClear device has been very popular lately and we’ve also been receiving a lot of enquiries about it. We’ve collated these results pictures to share (courtesy of .anz .au) along with some more information about what AviClear is and how it works.

AviClear Laser is a drug-free option for treating inflammatory acne. It utilises a 1726 nm wavelength to target and suppress the sebaceous glands, effectively reducing sebum production and addressing acne at its source.

When Dr Andrew first saw the clinical studies from Cutera for the AviClear device he was very impressed. There was a 92% reduction in the severity of acne symptoms for patients 2 years after they’ve stopped the course of laser treatments.

Acne is a very complicated disease but achieving positive treatment results can be life changing. There’s a lot of factors to be considered when treating acne so it’s important to remember that if you are getting AviClear Laser (or any type of laser treatments or acne treatments) you should think about your daily skincare, diet, and other environmental factors. If you do that and combine it with AviClear, then Dr Andrew thinks you can get incredible results.

This is Lada and she has been with the MIRA Clinic team since 2019 ✨

Lada is a Senior Dermal Therapist and Paramedical Aesthetician with over 25 years experience. She has worked in several countries around the world and has 20+ years experience in IPL Radio Frequency, Skin Needling and 10 years experience in Permanent Makeup Tattooing.

Lada also has a double degree in Psychology and World History, a PhD in Developmental Psychology and studied Russian Folk Art.

How many AviClear laser treatments do I need for my acne?

The clinical studies for AviClear chose to measure the results of people who had 3 separate laser treatments, approximately one month apart. Some of those results are shown here.
