In the lead up to the long weekend we have increased appointment availability at both clinics for both new and returning patients this week with all of our team members (except Dr Andrew).

Appointments are allocated on a first come, first serve basis and the best way to secure your preferred time is online via our website (link in bio).

Please note that from next Friday, April 3rd both MIRA Clinic West Perth & MIRA Clinic Joondalup will be closed. Both clinics will re-open as usual on Tuesday, April 7th.

This year the MIRA Clinic Team will be taking a break over the Easter long weekend which means our trading hours at both clinics will change.

Once we cleanse the skin thoroughly & start the treatment, we don’t want any oil seeping out onto the skin. That’s why when you watch people having AviClear treatments you’ll see that they’re often covered in wet gauze and that’s to keep the skin from developing oil on it during the treatment.

The Exion Radio-Frequency Micro-Needling treatment can be safely used to help to improve the collagen and elastin levels of all skin types and can be used on skin of any part of the body.

Here we can see receiving an Exion RF Micro-Needling treatment from .miraclinic on her neck and décolletage which will help to tighten the skin, and fight the formation of wrinkles in the area.

In a recent clinical study using the Exion, 80% of patients did not need to have any numbing for their treatments. Here we can see Krupali has no numbing for this treatment. How does the AviClear laser treat acne?

Just like Cutera’s other laser (the ExcelV), the AviClear has a refrigerated metallic base that cools the skin. This is so when the laser goes through the refrigerated sapphire crystal glass, it doesn’t heat up the skin. It goes through the skin until it hits something that is oil-based (the Sebaceous Glands) and when the laser heats up the Sebaceous Gland it cooks the acne bacteria, killing them and damaging the apparatus of the Sebaceous Gland.
