Sitting on the floor is one of the most common causes of back pain. This position places tension through the sciatic nerves and loads 80% of your body weight onto the L5 Disc. The stretch may feel good but the inflammation on the disc is often felt later that day, or the next day - the person believing they slept wrong !!
