The College was formed in 2014 to provide representation and education in the area of cosmetic medicine for the Affiliates, Members and Fellows of CPCA.

The Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia was formed in 2014 by a group of doctors with a special interest in Cosmetic medicine. The College evolved from the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia which was formed in 1997. The CPSA was the first organisation to represent the interests of those doctors working in the new field of cosmetic medicine – as versus cosmetic surgery. The purpose of the College is to provide representation and education in the area of cosmetic medicine for the Affiliates, Members and Fellows of the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australasia.
